Banh Mi

I walked down the street today to try out Ba Le, recommended by the person we’re subleasing from, and ordered #19, the Veggie Avocado (“mix of fried tofu, jicama, potatoes, and vermicelli noodles topped with fresh slices of avocado, Swiss cheese, house mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, vinegar jalapenos, red onion, cilantro, soy sauce, salt & pepper”). I’d never had tofu, but avacado was sounding good to me. Although I can’t pin point the ingredients that I ate, the sandwich was great and cost less than a Subway sub for something a little more exotic. Next time I think I’ll try the BBQ Pork.
