Yeah, Akron. Since mid February I’ve been driving to and from Akron 5 days a week for a temporary freelance job doing advertising for John Deere dealers (I’m serious). I’ve gotten used to the drive, but that doesn’t make it any shorter or any less frustrating some days. I listen to a lot of music. I tried a book on CD, but now I’m worried I’ll always hear those voices if I reread the book (that I had already read, prior to listening). So, I’m sticking to music and occasionally a radio show. I learned to at least appreciate the views on the drive. During the winter I was leaving at sunrise and coming home at sunset — it was beautiful. Now, when I’m lucky, I get blue skies. And Goodyear blimps.
