My Dad loves trying new places to eat or grab lunch and he can name the most random of places to go. Some time last week he offered me a bite of a corned beef sandwich before I left for work. I declined, but I did try a piece of corned beef. Let me just say, he’s lucky I didn’t ask for half the sandwich. Last Tuesday was my shopping day — I got almost all of my Christmas shopping done in one day. As a pit stop, I went to Corky and Lenny’s on the east side of Cleveland to get my own corned beef sandwich. For the price, this place doesn’t disappoint. I ate half the sandwich they gave me and saved the other for lunch the next day. I sat in the parking lot in my car, too giddy to sit in public, and ate and got mustard everywhere — my hands, the steering wheel, my camera. It definitely made me long for St. Patrick’s Day.
